Door Handle on Back door
My door handle on the back door will not open from the outside. Opens OK internally. My wife called Wallace(My Landrover) a piece of S#!+. Really hurt. I'm having the exact same problem, I am having my rover serviced for a different reason but I've asked that they take a look at this problem. Cruise Control Stopped Working

Explosives in air bag can degrade causing airbags not to inflate upon collision. No check eliminates companies liability when airbag doesn't open. So if you don't plan on having a collision, I wouldn't worry about it.- markthecat

I've had the same problem with the dealership here is St. Louis. I'll never step foot in the place again. They told me I needed a entirely new side view mirror when someone hit it. Only the bracket was broken I think they wanted 160 to fix it. Called atlantic british for the part they help...- markthecat

I agree completely, Harmon Kardon's are crap. Before you replace the rear door speaker check licence plate holder on back of truck. Special Socket Wrench To Remove Caliper from Hub?
I don't remember using anything special on that one. I think I used a 12 point metric socket. I could be wrong on the metric though..- markthecat

Premium Gas?
Good answer on the octane/N-heptane levels Jeff. As a chemist myself I'm quite impressed. Maybe you have another career to fall back on. As far as ayavner's (the rover guru's response) maybe there is some truth to my previous post that oil company's dump the premium in reg and plus tanks.- markthecat

Special Socket Wrench To Remove Caliper from Hub?
I looked everywhere for that tool with no luck. I believe that screw is tightened to 10 ft/lb of torque. I used a tap and chisle to back it out(I don't think it had ever been removed) and a new screw comes with your rotors. You should be able to tighten back on with reg screw driver without...- markthecat

Premium Gas?
My brother used to have a sales client who worked in the oil business, and he said the reg and plus are the same octane level as the premium. They do this to avoid having lower octane gas accidently dropped into their premium tanks, which would result in a massive federal fine. Anybody else...- markthecat

WOW all that over a tire cover. "You should really recover a Hummer before displaying that", and "Nice Looking Disco.... but I would have the tire cover till it was true.... not yet for me". Front Wiper arms: Stronger Spring?
Adjust your wiper arm. I had the same prob. The angle of the arm was to high on the windscreen causing the wiper to pop off the screen. Loosen the bolt lower the angle. If that doesn't work, you probable need a new wiper arm. Unless you can find just the spring somewhere.- markthecat
