How are you getting 20mpg?
LR3 mpg With Nitto 285/60/18's it registers 15.2 around town and maybe 18 or so on road trips. With the factory tires I was avg'ing 16+ with up to 22mpg from Phx to Los Angeles. One of the things I noticed was air pressure in my tires. With 50psi rear, 45 front my fuel economy increased... -

There are no convenient camping areas near the Rally headquarters but camping is available in the Coronado National Forest surrounding Tucson. There is no camping planned on behalf of the AZ Rally however.- 05LR3AZ

Found a Good Deal at CarMax for a LR3
Lr3 It sounds like an OK deal. The LR dealer in my area has a few 06's with similar to higher mileage for 28k SE, NAV equiped HSE for 29K. The 07's are 33/34k with 14k miles... The mileage is really good on the one you are looking at. Also, I'm not sure why the dealer would be selling... -

Wow man...I'm sorry to hear about your misfortune. Have you considered a new used engine or new block? Also, try to discuss with an LR independent shop where you might find a better price...all said and done your quote may be 25%-50%- 05LR3AZ

Dick Cepek
I've always thought Dick Cepek's were cool but didn't look into them that much when I upgraded my LR3 from the factory GY's... $350/tire is steep! I guess you pay for coolness I got Nitto's 285/65/18's out the door with an alignment for around $850 (give or take a few bucks)... -

Beach LR3 ?
Oceano Dunes (PISMO as most know it) is the only one anywhere near the area if i'm not mistaken... It's an OHV area (+/- 1300 acres and shrinking) that is shared with quads, sandrails and other vehicles but you can pull right up to the water, camp there...my all-time favorite... heard the... -

I have the Rosen DVD player and for me it was user-error not having sound. You tune your stereo to AUX. Then on the DVD player itself there is a button to select sound for headphones, sound off or sound AUX/External Speakers I think it's called...It's on the right side of the player...It... -

If there was no reason to replace the rotors it looks as though your dealer had included that in his price. That sucks! My LR dealer had done mine for $900 otd front and rear new rotors (it needed it), sensors and pads. There should be a list on this forum of best places (including LR dealers... -

Ouch, probably list price under the worst circumstances (new rotors, sensors, etc.). This topic has been brought up before but search for another independent LR dealer or ask your dealer to bring down his price. Sounds 40% high to me.
