Roof had to be made on the assembly line in the UK, it finally arrived earlier this week. It's welded on and painted but a ways to go yet. All the glass has to be re-installed, sensors, sunroofs, etc. -

Update. There were 3 roof options for 2002. 2 were around $700, the third is $1700. My luck I have the $1700 one which took a lot of negotiation to have Geico approve (This is the one for GPS, ACE. Its determine by your VIN# and can only be ordered by a local dealer). They gave in and it's on... -

It looks like the price between a new roof and used is minimal so he's going to order a new one on Monday. He's going to speak to Rover on Monday to confirm correct order as there are 2 roof options for 2002. -

MAF and SES light
I almost forgot, please ensure your airfilter and airbox is clean. Also remove all dust from the plastic tube that connects to the MAF or you'll be back in this same situation. Have a safe trip. - Rob -

2000 Disco 2 smoking
I'm running Castrol Edge Titanium 5W30 in my 2002 with no ill effects. Runs nice an cool with perfect idle. You must be running Castrol Edge Syntec, which should be fine. Before every oil change you should throw a can of BG44K in the gas tank. -

Were you successful? Also the 4 digits given by the dealer, as long as the radio wasn't swapped should match 4 of the 5 digits. That will confirm your looking at the correct bar code. -

HELP! My radio needs a 5 diget code!!
If you have the radio with navigation, open glove box, on the left side (closer to driver) there will be a bar code sticker. If the bar code sticker has the number 123456789 the nav/radio code is the last 5 digits, 56789. I have a 2002 SE but it should be the same process.
