    97 disco a/c

Being that our trucks have dual climate control, sounds like you have a blend door issue. Never a bad idea to check your AC system anyway, but please use a set of professional gauges, not the kind from Autozone/Checkers!

    Air Condition

I would recommend you use a professional set of gauges to tell if you really have the correct pressure and at what pressure the low/high sides are at. Also, when was the last time you had your AC serviced?

First thing you should do is get a copy of the RAVE manual, you can do a search and find a link somewhere. The fuel filter is located in the passenger side rear tire well on the top of the frame. The fuel pump is located in the back cargo area, under the carpeting smack dab in the middle of the...

have you kept up with your maint? Changed your fuel filter lately? Checked if you have any pressure at the fuel rail? Is your fuel pump turning on? How mechanically inclined are you? If not too much, you may want to take it to a LR shop to get it checked out. Good luck & hope you get it...

    considering buying '99 Disco...few questions

I think you have your answer, go with the Trooper. It's within your budget and as you can tell, Land Rover's are great vehicles, but you're looking at older models which will be inevitable needy as they are 6-10+ years old. Stuff breaks, stuff wears out. If i was in your situation, i'd get the...

    considering buying '99 Disco...few questions

There are some preliminary tests you can do, but it involves a trip to a SnapOn or Matco tools truck. You can get the tool that tests the coolant for exhaust gas (over $100) and you can also buy a coolant system pressure tester (under $100). These coupled with taking the plugs out and inspecting...

For the Advanced Evap, you can get NTK (P/N: 25044) or Bosch (P/N: 15630). For the Bosch, i have found them for $65.99 @ Oreilly: http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/BOS0/15630.oap?year=1999&make=Land%2BRover&model=Discovery&vi=1377806&keyword=15630 I have also found the NTK @ Summit...

    Oxygen Sensor Question

If you have an autozone or Oreilly/Checkers nearby, you can get them there as well. I have a 99 D1 SD also and i found that mine uses the same O2 sensors as the 99 D2 which are $65 each (gray connectors) vs $150 each for the older (black connector) style.
