Was replacing my right brake light today and ran into a bit of trouble.

When I pulled the unit out of the brake housing, the light somehow melted the plastic it was housed in. Since I'm in-between jobs, I decided not to pick up a new light housing piece since a new light would fit in there no problem anyway. So I stick in the new light, and put it in the brake housing, and then my brake light stopped working all together. I'm also unable to shift it into gear.

I'm pretty sure it's a fuse problem, can someone point me to the right fuse to check? Or any other suggestions?

Or to a person who will trade my car for a Gsx 1300r? ;)

Thanks!

Sounds like the switch which turns on and off the brake lights is stuffed.

You can locate this switch which is near the top of the arm of the brake pedal

Good luck!

Actually, it was the fuse.

The light housing unit was damaged causing the fuse to blow.

Thanks though :)
