I was crawling around under my 2012 LR4 and noticed some brackets where it appears a panel should be. It’s just to the rear of the front bash panel and sump and would cover what guessing is the AC unit. I have attached a couple of photos. Does anyone know if there is supposed to be a panel covering this area, if so does anyone have a part number or description? TIA.

that’s your transmission pan... my ‘10 does not have anything covering the pan. I would not guess you’d want airflow restriction there in order to help with heat dispersion. The catalytic converters are right there too...it’d get quite hot in there if a heat shield were there.

I do have the new AB metal pan after doing the transmission service.
