Hey everyone, i'm just curious as to what you guys are getting out there on your LR4 as far as MPG is concerned. I have a 2011 with 62k miles. I constantly get between 21-29 MPG on the highway doing 60-70MPH after a few minutes. Obviously, when i brake it goes back down, but quickly bumps back up into the high 20's again. By the way this is NYC traffic and around 50 degrees out and i constantly have a full truck with people. I used 93 Octane Mobil, not really sure if it matters. Please share your average MPG's!

We have a 2012 We only get 17-19 at 70-80MPH. Real world stop start mileage 14-16. Its not great, but they are awesome.

About 15-16 average in LA traffic and clogged freeways. Goes up when there is no traffic, so never.

My 2011 has 68K and my around town combined average is 16. I'm taking an Easter road trip tomorrow and will reset it before the 6-hour drive to see how it does. I think the premium fuel does make a positive difference. I admit that I usually pump regular grade.

Enjoy the holiday weekend and safe driving, everyone.

I don't know how you get 28 in those, or any conditions. You sure you're not set to km per gallon?? Have you ever started full, and done the math yourself? Because something is goofy.

I should probably do the math and let you guys know. It's set to gallons and i always easily get these numbers. Maybe something is up with my computer on the truck?

Straight and level at 70 mph I can get in the low 20's. Daily is around 14-16. LR3 though.

5,500 miles 90% highway, average mpg 17.
It will easily go down here in Manhattan therefore I use the subway when not going out of the city ;)

I am sure you can "hyper-mile" your way up into upper 20s for a road trip. I took a pic of ~70mpg in a diesel 3 series BMW once. I was basically limiting my speed at 50-60mph for the lowest rpm in high gear while drafting behind semi trucks for less wind resistance. (I was bored and an hour ahead of schedule to meet a friend and had time to ****)
