Not true. Unlikely for a block to warp. A good machine shop will know the limits of how far they can mill the heads if they are warped. And if the heads are toast (say cracked or bearing shot), buy another on ebay and get it conditioned it at a machine shop. It is far cheaper than replacing an engine. Done it thrice.If the block or heads are warped, you will be better off replacing the engine.
