You can't get access to the same holes on the driver side because of the air compressor… The passenger side rear mount seems much more robust than the driver's side, mainly because the bolting positions are much better.

I think it looks really nice, and am pretty impressed with the quality, for the purchase price..

All right - I jumped the gun as well and got mine off eBay and had them shipped to the independent mechanic who does all my bimmer work as well: http://www.ebay.com/itm/171722151678

I asked the seller about longer / additional bolts and he said that he is unable to supply anything else as he is just a reseller.

I will keep you guys posted. The estimate for putting them on has been $200 from pretty much every shop I have asked at. Sounds very high IMHO

Ok - so I had these running boards installed today at a friendly local mechanic and it took some serious time and some cutting of the flaps as well. The directions that came along the board were all wrong but after install, they look very solid. I weigh only 95lbs but jumping on them seems fine so far. Hope they will stay on.

The mechanic asked for $150 after 2 hours of hard work and help from another guy and I added some tip to it.

Sounds like a good choice. Can you post pics of the installed runningboards?
