would 305/40/22 tires fit under a stock disco 1??

I know the inch. height would be 31.61 inch. would that fit under it??

I doubt that you would be able to fit them. Firstly, you may have to raise your vehicle, and, possibly need to trim. Secondly, you would need to find a set of 22" rims that are at least 10" wide. Thirdly, even if you got this far, you would have a reduced turning circle due to rubbing.
If you go ahead with the install, I'd love to see some photos.

I don't think it would fit either, mainly because of the width...they would be sticking out the sides really bad, that is more of an escalade/h2 size isn't it? Lift or no lift, with a rim that is 10+" it isn't going to fit. Or put a different way... Of course they will fit but you will only get to drive straight forward and backward Not to say there isn't some way to fit 22s just not that tire...
