Well Friends... It's Been Real

So as hard as its been to part with my LR3... I won't be on the LRWorld forums a whole lot.

Mostly due to a change in location, it's not really practical to own a LR3 anymore. So, I've bought into the German BMW family. Enjoying my new car, although I will certainly miss the LR3. Although two twin turbos is a lot of fun... anyone want to take a guess?

M3? I had one a few years back, a great car and too damn fun to drive. However, I would think there is always room for Rover in the driveway.

My neighbor has an M3 and it sounds like a A370 taking off. Lets be honest though, there is nothing practical about a land rover. That is part of the appeal.

6.3 removed the governer will do 185 mph or so I'm told its scary fast. I've talked myself out of 3tickets so far it's way too fast for my lead foot. It's a cop magnet. I can drive my f250 90 mph (its shuts off over that will scare the **** out of u when it goes silent) never get a second look. in the amg I get pulled over at red lights

Awesome. That's why I can't have an M3 anymore. I'm working my way up to a ducati, but my wife jokes I have to up my life insurance.

I just want to see a plush red 996 on a trailer behind my LR3

Yeah when my daughter starts driving next year it's gone. I normally drive big slow 4 wd this car is a blast. My wife even told me she has trouble driving it slow.

Sorry to see you go, but you will enjoy that BMW. We've owned 4 generations of the 3 series, including an E90 like yours.
