I backed into a tree and broke my third break light, I have the replacement part, does anyone have any idea how to go about replacing it?

Dude, I heard it's installed the same way glass is replaced. Can anyone confirm this?

How do i remove the old one and what kind of glue is used?

Mine is cracked and I was told the same thing. I will bet that using a heat gun carefully will soften the sealant enough to remove it. I keep looking for one, but I have a feeling its going to be a dealer only item.
