Pretty sure there's a nut on the topside of the bump-stop. Use a box end wrench on top then grab a large pair of channel locks to back the bump-stop out.

M8 x 25mm cap screw

My parts book shows 4 only part number RYF500130, Spacer, each held on by a single M8 x 25mm cap screw. As with the previous post, it sounds like a wrench suitable for an M8 cap screw may be the solution.

Yeah, was able to get two off by han and wrench, just need to use channel locks & a wrench with the other 2. Still dont see how this cooper zeon will go up there even with 5 psi but going to have at it again tonight.

Your new ZeonLtZ will definitely fit up there and with plenty room for use of your hitch receiver too! I actually have a friend that only trimmed his shield and was still able to fit his new LTZ up in there however very close to his hitch when in use... I have personally experienced my spare tire and even rim getting hung up on some taller rock descents etc. I recommend carrying the spare in the cargo trunk on the more difficult rock crawls because the tire side walls and inner bead will sit exposed beyond the lowest part of your LR3 rear bumper. BTW! the fit will be very close and will require some patience and several angle attempts so be very careful not to force ur spare lift crank. Handle It!

Actually I just removed my shields entirely so I can re-install if ever I wanted to sell the truck. Mine's been great and I love it especially after a good complete detailing...fyi most scratches just waxed/polished out while others are now considered patina and artistic expressions of my offroad trail adventures...lol

To fit my Zeon in the spare location I had to remove the shield, air down to 25, and use a floor jack to get it up in there. the way it is now, I can't use my hitch without removing the tire. Been meaning to pull it out to see if there is a way to better position it up in there to use the hitch with the Zeon spare in there.

Well i need to be able to use my hitch, i got the stops finally off, removed te shield, aired down to 10psi and jacked it up in there. But now the hitch wont go on and took forever to get it back out. Those metal frames near the exhaust that would normally be behind the shields is what is catching the tire. Ive seen a post where a guy took a cutting wheel to that metal area but this is beyond stupid. How long can one guy spend getting a tire up there. I'll never get it out once its wedged up there. Any suggestions?

Doing my brakes again tomorrow and im beyond annoyed right now.

Ok I just spent two hours out trying to position the Zeon LTZ in the spare location and still "have plenty of room" to install the hitch. What's the secret tomasesto? did you cut out any of the metal near the exhaust?
