lower control arms

I just replaced the lower control arm bushings and I can't find the torgue specs for the bolts that hold it in place. Does anyone know the numbers or where to find them?

275 Nm or 203 lb. ft.
Shock absorber and spring assembly: 300 Nm or 221 lb. ft
Ball joint retaining nut: 115 Nm or 85 lb. ft.

Good job, how many miles since they were last replaced?

This is for a 2005 LR3 right? It took only a couple of hours. I haven't don't it before but it was simple enough. I've for 85k on her right now.

I have an 05 HSE and this was taken from the Global Tech website manual. I can't imagine that they changed it over the LR3 run. I got about 70,000 miles out of my my first set, but then I changed out just about everything in the front suspension; upper and lower arms, tie rods and ends. Some of those parts were changed by the factory after the first run of LR3's. I believe the spec for the bushings and tie rods was changed. If your vehicle is new to you, you might want to investigate what has been done. Lightly driven vehicles didn't have any issues. Respect to the hard wheelers who early on exposed the soft spots in the LR3 spec.

Well the person that owned it before me used it as a grocery getter. She neve took it off the road and I could tell by the condition of the parts it hasn't been touched for a long time. The other bushing were in great condition compared to the lower rear ones. I use mine like its intended but I'll test the new ones out to see how they hold. I don't imagine the torque would have changed with newer parts. Thanks for your help

you wouldnt happen to have the torque specs for the inner tie rods would you? I am replacing them before I get a new alignment and balance done.

Inner tie rod toque is 100 Nm or 74 lb.ft.
