With the hub bore you mention these wheels will not be hub centric. They will only be connected via the studs.

I’m looking to get into some 18” wheels, and can’t find any LR wheels. What are your thoughts on these?

Why would you spend that much on a wheel that is not an ideal match to the vehicle? If you have not found lr3 18" wheels, you have not looked very hard.

Those offsets are stupid and will bring you more trouble if you want a useful tire size. Just clear your head, those are a terrible idea.

That’s why I asked. No reason to be condescending about it. I’m new to the lr3 world and trying to make good decisions as I put this thing together. Please point me in the direction of used 18” lr3 wheels if you know where some are. Also, I have an off road shop, those wheels don’t cost me anywhere near list.

It was not condescending. I literally do not understand why you'd even consider that junk when there are even a few aftermarket wheels engineered specifically for the lr3 such as the UK compomotive, terrafirma, and through mudtech4x4

If you have such experience in off road work, then you will appreciate how the offset on the lr3 is very important.

For example, with various modifications I can now run bfg km2 in an almost 34" 285/70-18 but only on the factory wheel with no spacer. I am certain that even an 8.5" wheel on same offset would be trouble but the ones you posted with cool looking wider offset would not work at all.

Ebay has plenty of lr3 wheels you just have to dig a bit to be sure you're getting something quality. I actually prefer a dirty non-repainted wheel so I can see it's original surface for any signs of damage.

I’m just trying to see what else is out there. The Compomotives are rediculously over priced and I personally think the terrafirmas are ugly. I haven’t seen the mudtech4x4 yet. I’ll look them up. I’m not pretending to know everything, that’s why I asked.

I think you can find 18" LR wheels on Craigs List or Offer Up if you keep trying.

JWest I really need to see these ~34s on your Rover in-person one of these days! Sounds savage.

Well, I'll warn you the mudtech choices aren't cheap at all either plus we have to deal with the shipping. I don't know how the usd/eur is right now but if you can find anything in Australia you like, the exchange is very good right now and likely to reverse soon.

Agreed on the terrafirma aesthetics but the CM are priced about in line with their quality. I would think you'd appreciate a properly engineered wheel over cost but that's why I have stuck with the factory wheels. Pretty darn cheap and 100% ideal on the vehicle. I found several 18" factory on ebay around $150-$200 in a quick search. Sometimes a dealer is willing to swap with you their lr3 with 19's for it's 18's but for me that's been when I already had a long relationship with them. If you find a used lr3 for sale with 19's, maybe you'll find someone who's interested in such a swap. For the basic person, 19's are an upgrade so you both win for free.

FYI, if you want to go further, you can swap some brake parts like rotors and carriers to allow the 17". My avatar right now is a 17" Nokian E load range studded. It's insane in all snow/ice/slush.
