2016 and don't reach 15k miles per year but do the change per year anyways. Didn't see the time option up there mr. rick :) Which box am I clicking?

Last year had about 6k miles and the service advisor suggested to still do the oil change as according to him the oil deteriorates over time regardless of the amount of miles driven. He also mentioned that LR recommended yearly oil change even if the vehicle has not been driven 15k miles.

Not sure i buy that. I have a bunch of Italian garage queens that i drive a cple hundred miles a year. With fully synthetic oil changes i go 24 months and oil and filters always look very clean.

The people that don't do a yearly or more often than 15k are probably the same ones that don't use Top Tier gas. Sure it costs a few more $ but you own a luxury offroader. Crack your wallet open or dump it to somebody that will.

No. I find 7500 to be fine with full synthetic. I'm not up to pushing it to 10k or beyond because it's just not worth the risk. If I was putting in the exact grade of LR mfg oil and had a warranty maybe I'd do their mileage just to see how it goes.
