Im looking to pick up a spare set of wheels for the winter. Are there any other car brands that have wheels with the same dimensions to fit the LR4 ?

perhaps BMW X5 but pay attention to weight capacity as well as offset and center bore dimensions. Of course lug spacing and and may need different lug nuts as the LR is flat washer vs some of the bevel stuff out there.

I put BMW X5 style 99 18" wheels on my LR4. That required minor clearancing of the caliper fins and standard put nuts. I love the look of them and it allows fitment of real tires.

Yeah I like this idea but this ended up in a very active thread. They’re not rated for the weight of our beasts. They’ll work but it’s sorta like playing with fire. I thought I read something about the oem wheels having a special internal bead that’s designed to let you air it down and keep the tire on. This would be what I’d want in the fun of Midwest winter. Especially since the potholes and curbs are invisible and many in winter.

What was the weight rating of those wheels?

No idea, but the x5 they normally are on us only a few hundred lbs lighter than the LR4. My reasoning is that German engineering and manufacturing + about 400lbs extra weight is likely still better than what came on it. I've got about 10k miles on them and they have not fallen off yet.
