Thoughts on 2021 Bronco as LR4 replacement?

I don't understand why they didn't make the new Bronco tow more. Its out of consideration until it can tow 7k.

I don't think they see the Defender as a competitor. Different price point, fixed roof, foreign, etc.

Their chief competitor (the Wrangler) has a similar anemic tow rating. I think they probably think they are golden.

It's either suspension flex or towing, not both. Pick one.

I agree. If towing is a priority you want tow vehicle weight and ideally long wheelbase. The LR4 has the weight and does remarkably well considering its wheelbase. That being said longer wheelbase would make it even more planted.

I've never understood why this is. Is it a matter of flex requiring soft springs = limited tongue weight ?

It's either suspension flex or
