....$400 for a steel wheel? seems crazy to me.

edit: now that i think of the alternatives...i guess 400 isnt that high of a price considering theyve got the Land rover markup.

I'm more offended by the $20 lugnuts than the price of the wheels LOL.

They call the wheels alloy. Can't bear to call them steel I guess. $4200 list for the set up. Wow. I have looked at some LR3s that were that amount.

US$390 + sensors & nuts?????? Much heavier than Compos which must be much stronger & look
vastly better on a dark LR4. That sure makes for a good case to buy Compo's. Why cheapen the look
of a beautiful LR4?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Maybe I'm crazy like the OP but I think it looks great. :) It's a nice looking combo. I bet they'd look great painted black too.

So there is steel and there is alloy - both different metals. LR calls them alloy are they...or just steel? These IMO would be perfect for some snow tires for Idaho winters....

yeah, may have been cheaper to buy a defender, swap the rims out, and resell the defender. Holy cow. That is commitment on the look on the part of OP.
