Here's what we've been working on....The picture has CNC aluminum dash vents and bezels for the switches.

Very nice - reminds me of my TT on the vents. And the buttons remind me of our Touareg (although I don't think they actually looked like that). Both of those cars have great interiors, so they are good things to look like.

Are you planning on selling this? Or were you just doing it one off?

Is that an aluminum knob on the TRS dial too?

BTW - you do very nice work! Is this a hobby, or something you do professionally?

nice work. did you straight polish them or did you put some clear coat overtop?

Thanks for the comments.

This is straight-up high quality aluminum stock, 5052 I think. Some polishing on the finish. Aluminum you can polish to chrome-like if you go far enough, but I like a more subtle tone. There is no clear coat. And there is a bezel for the terrain knob.

The design approach is similar to the work we did for our Porsche line. And interestingly enough when purchasing the LR3 the dealer had a Bentley GT Coupe in the showroom with the same look. Checkout the Bentley website, the pictures are better but the parts are of similar look and feel in real life.

My vision for the LR3 is the metals, leather and possibly some ebony surface treatments. Not too sure about wood, the kits that are out there seem to do too much.

i really wanted some carbon work done with my interior. we started a post a while back. the company that i found to do the center section of the console wanted $1000 for the large single piece.(the large gray center piece including the middle round vents and surrounding the outer edge of the radio) i would still like to get it done but need to find someone cheaper. i used to sell woodview, sherwood, autotrim specialties, and a few others but noone would set me up an entire wrap. i dont want the flat stick on unles its seemless and curved. i havent pursued in a while but your pics above and motivating. love to see what you have planned next.
