I have an overheating problem in my '99 Disco with about 105K miles. It's fine on the highway, or back roads if you keep moving. If you're in stop and go traffic, the temperature starts to climb. I assume you paid a pretty price for the work. Take it back to him, describe the problems and let him know that all the money you spent didn't fix the orignal problem. If he can't find the problem, take to a different "well known Land Rover shop", and never go back to him again.- 123Guy123Guy

Removing Dash Pod
Thanks Joey, that may be the problem - I assume the two screw holes are near the bottom of the pod as there are a couple of holes there.- 123Guy123Guy

It's not the entire dash, just the pod that sits on top of the dash directly in front of the steering wheel, and actually I don't need to remove it, it's loose and I need to reattach it.- 123Guy123Guy

Well, that's good to know. Years ago, when I was driving my TR6 as my daily driver ( I bought it new), I have flown back into town, gone to the parking lot, turned the key and NOTHING. But,al least it was predictable - remove the fuse cover and roll the three fuses (yes, that's all the fuses...- 123Guy123Guy

We just bought a '99 Discovery - tired of hauling stuff around in the trunk of my MB 300CD coupe or Sarah Jane, my '74 TR6 - needed a truck.
