    I did a thing

Ok thanks, makes sense. I used 3M vhb tape to tape my solar panel to the roof/glass. I used about 25 ft of tape so that thing is NEVER coming off. I live in Minnesota so it gets -25 F in winter and still sticks well, no lifting after almost 2 years. Which MPPT controller did you end up using?

Get it installed yet? Wondering about fitment and use of an overlay, etc. Details please.

    I did a thing

So you apply the vinyl onto the hood and then tape the solar panel to that? I'm surprised by how thick the panel is, a 1/2 inch? I have an Overland Solar panel taped to my glass roof on my LR3 with 3M vhb tape and it's only about 3-4 mm thick total. Problem with the roof mount is when I put my...

    Black Rhino Arsenol 18” Wheels

I take it you're not planning on off-roading with that wheel choice (20" rims) since there is a tiny sidewall. I run 275/65/18 on my LR3 which is the same overall size as what you've spec'd but 18" rim and I don't have much rubbing issues. Overall, there are so many variables, it's ultimately...

Rear end sagging. Time to work on my EAS.

You're lucky that you can get your gas tank skid off. When I went to take mine off after 6 years I ended up snapping bolts off which turned a 15 minute job into a multi day job and hard work. I used POR-15 and completely bathed my gas skid in it. Like you, I attempted to rebuild my valve block...

Rear end sagging. Time to work on my EAS.

That's a very sound plan. Usually people pull the fuse (not the relay) for the air compressor to confirm valve block leakage, but since your front hasn't dropped it's probably the rear block. Be meticulous when replacing the o-rings in the valve block and make sure everything is clean and dry...

    Inner/Outer Tie rod ends replacement

My 2006 LR3 V8 eats tie rod ends like M&M's. I do off-road so there's that, but still, I can't even go anywhere without needing replacements. Last year I started replacing them myself and bought a set of "heavy duty" (don't get excited) tie rod ends from Lucky8 LLC. So far they're fairing...

2010 L322 Supercharged Full size - Front Suspension dropping overnight

Don't forget to check your Front air Valve Block for leakage. I would have started there before air bags, but who knows, the leak could be anywhere.

    Nanocom or IIDTool?

I can't speak for your DII and the dealer, but sounds like that's a one and done job once synced. The IID Tool will work on all of the vehicles mentioned to read/clear codes. You do NOT need a license to plug it into another vehicle and check/clear codes, etc. You DO need a license if you want...

    Nanocom or IIDTool?

I can't believe nobody has answered your question yet. I have both the Nanocom EVO and the IID Tool BT and I use the IID tool 99% of the time. The Nanocom has become novelty to me because the blue tooth interface of the IID tool to my iPad and Android phone is so convenient. I use it on my 2006...

LR3 Cooling System Rebuild / Refresh (tools and tricks question)

I just did basically the same thing you're planning about 2 months ago. I don't remember needing any special tools that I didn't already have on hand although we did heat up an old needle nose pliers and bend the tongs to create more of a curve to its bite so we could more easily grip the press...

    Bluetooth Upgrades

The software in the Bluetooth module needs to be updated. Using a GAP IID tool you can update the software easily yourself and your phone will then connect automatically instead of you having to enter 2121 every time you start the engine. This only works for modules that use the 2121 code, not...

18" Wheels - EVO CORSE DAKARZERO

I just had to post regarding these new wheels. SIX pages of posts and NOT a SINGLE PHOTO of one MOUNTED on a LR4. Sad. Way to sell it!

Which diagnostic tool are you using

My money and vote goes to the GAP IID Bluetooth. It's versatile and does just about anything and everything and, as mentioned, support is great. I have both IID BT and Nanocom Evolution and I use the IID tool 99% of the time now.

    2005 LR3 Cooling Issues

My experience: I've blown off the top radiator hose twice myself, both at very inopportune times while off-roading. After the first time it blew off I put two hose clamps on but it still blew off the second time. V8 4.4L (I'm assuming you have the same) The only way it can be over heating is...
