Well, I finally did it...
I traded it in due to convenience and the fact that my driveway only holds one vehicle. It stung REALLY BADLY how little I got for her despite being in excellent condition and low mileage. The upside was that the dealer worked with me on the price of the defender and I got a really great finance... -

Sadly said goodbye to my 2011 LR4 the other day. Actually cried when cleaning her out. I ended up landing on a brand new 2025 Defender X Dynamic SE, beating out the Lexus GX and the Grenadier. Bluetooth Control Module fried...

2011 LR4 Misfire/rough idle
I'm not Phil, but I also went through this a couple years ago with my 2011 LR4. After about a year's worth of trial and error-- replaced all the injectors, coils, plugs, numerous sensors, etc... the culprits were the hpfp's. Absolutely no problems since. -
Anyone end up buying their Grenadier order
I cancelled my Grenadier reservation/order. The nail in the coffin was the final cost. I was also never able to make it to any of the test drive events they had around Los Angeles... And honestly? I'm just not ready to part with my LR4. -
Common fuel pressure issue?
I've had this very same issue on my 2011 LR4. Very long story short-- We tried the Seafoam first to no avail. Finally had the hpfp's and the lpfp replaced and voila. No more misfires. -
Drivers Side Floorboard Wet
Oh my. I just dealt with this last year and that same cat **** smell! From what I understand it is a common issue. I attempted to clear the lines myself to no avail. A friend would always call my original 2004 disco, "dances with wolves". When i got my 2011, i obviously had to call her "dances with wolves II: the armageddon" :) -

I've been reading along this entire thread as I am also wondering if i should just hang onto mine until she becomes too much of a maintenance/ cost burden. Driver door not locking
Yep! Actuator. I had my 2011's drivers and passenger door actuators replaced over the past few years. Very annoying as you have to pull apart the entire door to get it done. I paid my indie LR guys to do this both times. Around 650 both times.
