Anyone end up buying their Grenadier order
I cancelled my Grenadier reservation/order. The nail in the coffin was the final cost. I was also never able to make it to any of the test drive events they had around Los Angeles... And honestly? I'm just not ready to part with my LR4. -
Common fuel pressure issue?
I've had this very same issue on my 2011 LR4. Very long story short-- We tried the Seafoam first to no avail. Finally had the hpfp's and the lpfp replaced and voila. No more misfires. -
Drivers Side Floorboard Wet
Oh my. I just dealt with this last year and that same cat **** smell! From what I understand it is a common issue. I attempted to clear the lines myself to no avail. A friend would always call my original 2004 disco, "dances with wolves". When i got my 2011, i obviously had to call her "dances with wolves II: the armageddon" :) -

I've been reading along this entire thread as I am also wondering if i should just hang onto mine until she becomes too much of a maintenance/ cost burden. Driver door not locking
Yep! Actuator. I had my 2011's drivers and passenger door actuators replaced over the past few years. Very annoying as you have to pull apart the entire door to get it done. I paid my indie LR guys to do this both times. Around 650 both times. -
Newbie to the LR4 - GAP tool a must?
Yes! Mine paid for itself programming one new extra key fob. (Dealer wanted 750 for a new key!) I've also used it to add the facelift HID headlamps w/ DRL's. -

UPDATE: Truck is all good since the LR Dealership swapped out my LPFP and HPFP's. Whew. That cost a fortune but they were able to work out a discount with me on the parts. I am simply glad she's running great on cold start up! Of course though, as soon as I got her home, the driver side door... -

It does help, yes, thank you. I should have also stated that my indie rover garage ran a compression test/ smoke test done a few months back and turned up ok. I will run this by the tech at LR when I take her in. I truly despise driving my "side car" electric fiat and hope to get this sorted... -
