Sorry for late reply, hope you fixed your issue. It does need a scan tool to reset the adaptations, I believe the Autel bluetooth unt can erform the procedure, it does not have to be the IID tool if you do not have it.- LVDaytripper

Short of rebuilding the unit, have you tried clearing the adaptations for the TCM? After changing oil, filter and solenoids, maybe training the transmission on how you drive will solve your issues. Just my thoughts.- LVDaytripper

2016 LR4 Negative battery terminal
I've had this happen on my 2005 LR3 and 2002 FL1, best way to fix is go to nearest auto parts store, in the battery/battery accessorties section, look for a terminal sleeve that goes over the existing post giving you more "meat" to clamp onto. The sleeve is flexible.- LVDaytripper

I believe, by looking at your photos, that piece is just the bracket to hold the plugs in place. If you don't mind just tucking the plugs in between the body and bumper cover, you should be able to finish the install. Wheels and Tires?
Although I drive the 3, I use the 18" 10 spoke original LR alloys which I believe can still fit the '10-'12 LR4 with the standard brake rotors and calipers. Tires are 265/65/18 with no spacers BUT I have the lift rods. I like em but then again, it's just me, to each his own.- LVDaytripper

Maybe time to check condition of your battery. Any fluctuations in voltage causes havoc in these rigs. Happened twice to me in 2 different models. Coolant Levels Dropping Slowly - No Visible Leaks
Also, check the weep hole in the underside of the water pump. It could leak very slowly from that location and travel to nooks and crannies that you won't see. If there are signs of coolant coming from weep hole, time to replace water pump.- LVDaytripper

Headliners.... why are they always beige or a version of boring?
I think they may have intentionally used light colors to make the interior feel much bigger and have a more airy feel in conjunction with the panoramic sunroof.
