We seldom go to where the snow is, but have a 2013 with the Conti's and they are awesome. Pretty quiet on the freeways, very capable in the wet and snow and have been as good as it gets for our 13 LR4. Why do american trucks get much better mpg that the lr4?
It's not the V6 that is the issue. Just look at the weight and the poor aerodynamics of the LR4. We have a 2013 LR4 that gets about 12 in the city and as I recall never saw the high side of 19 anywhere on the road. 2012 LR4 GPS showing me 150 miles away....
TMC is your traffic info and it is sent by FM signal to your radio. Areas that are not in urban signal reception may not received TMC at all. We have LR4's and a Jaguar and the traffic info is good until you get into BFE and then nothing.- magnumforc

Land Rovers Suck!! Hear me out!
Strangely enough, the composite (plastic) intake manifolds on Fords 4.6 modular engines had massive problems in the early 2000's. I had one that the manifold started spewing coolant on a hot day (104 degrees) and Ford had a TSB on it that covered it to 100K miles. I think this using composites...- magnumforc

Full Size Spare
I was incorrect. Both have the aluminum wheels. It is mounted upside down and was pretty filthy from road grime, so it looked like a steel wheel at first look.- magnumforc

It appears the HSE was special ordered with a full size spare but it is steel and not a mag rim. I was surprised the first time I dropped it to check the pressure. The LUX has the locker and heavy duty option and came with a full size mag rim.- magnumforc

We have full size spares on both LR4's, one with a steel wheel and one with mag rims. Dealers sometimes don't know a rim from a hole in the ground. God forbid they use the internet to see what it is you need.- magnumforc
