I received an unexpected call today . ... My extended warranty has expired. I planned on extending, but the company will no longer support extended warranties on Land Rovers . . . I had better start saving pennies . . . . Or in The case of LR3s, dollars.- MilehighLR3

Houm, re: coil spacer, I think you're right. Because the angles change, ever so slightly, custom UCA's maybe a worthwhile experiment. Not sure I want to tackle that though. Houm .. . My front strut failure was front passenger side . . .weird coincidence? When I had the front end apart installing the replacements there isn't any noticeable differences. Houm, prices aren't much different from the OE springs. With shipping from FL to CO, there was maybe $20-$30 saved total. New air sping mfr?
All, in my quest to contribute to this great nation's economy I ran across a "new" air spring company. Arnott Industries. Seems they have a Bilstein/Goodyear Bladder strut for the LR3. Popped a front air bag/strut on a class 4 trail this weekend.
When the fronts popped, it dropped the front to the bump stops. The rears were still inflated. I had to adjust the rod length to drop the rear down enough to attempt to smooth out the ride. The computer kept telling me the speed was limited but it didn't prevent driving at highway-ish speeds...- MilehighLR3

That's an excellent point . . . . Likely easier than fabbing a new upper control arm. I installed the spare struts . . . Still have the suspension failure, had to drop it off at the dealer . . . . .- MilehighLR3
