Anyone running 20" BFG KO2 without mods? And, there's a new BFG 20" tire option.

About two years ago I lost my key to the hitch but ordered a new locking mechanism with keys. You have to remove lock mechanism and provide a code that is on the hitch lock. Cost about $50 https://www.bputah.com/LR3/Land_Range_Rover_Sport_LR3_LR4_Tow_Hitch_Receiver_Lock_Key.html

Regarding the winch, the same thing happen to me, but I have an old LR3 that I salvaged a winch from. I have learned that you have to keep tension on the winch line when winching back up. My Toyo 255/50/20 tires (31 inch) do not touch the heat shields. Absolutely no tire noise from the tires. So...

This is the video that helped me feel comfortable with 31 inch tires without Johnson Rods. I know your looking for an objective definitive answer on 32's (without Johnson Rods), which I was too, but could not find one.

I did have to remove the hitch to raise the tire up. I did not have to deflate tire to mount it in the spare tire area. Needed a little guidance to initially maneuver around heat shields, but once it was past the edge of the heat shield the tire raised straight up. The last couple of cranks...

Thank you both. Very good to know the Toyo performed well on and off the highway. My single tire arrived (Toyo Open Country III 255/55R20) on Saturday. I will get the tire mounted then try to fit the tire, fully inflated, into the spare tire area with the LR tow hitch on.

Hello, I am currently exploring the 255/55R20 Toyo Open Country III and came across the BFG Train Terrain T/A, which did catch my attention. My first step is to see if the 31 inch tire can fit in the spare wheel area fully inflated (I have TPMS) with the tow hitch adapted mounted. Will have an...

    Rear Seat DVD System

Dropping Apple itouch The cases they make for Apple itouches really make this a moot point. Drop by an Apple store and you will see.

    Waterproof seat covers

Tan Custom Waterproof Seatcovers I had mine made in January 2006. Mine was the 1st LR3 they did. I think it was $450 for all 3 rows. They have saved my seats from my 3 children. Even if they don't list the LR3 on their web page call them because they have the pattern. I was shocked that they...

Trailer Towing With A Friction Sway Control Vs WDH

Good explanation about WDH as they might relate to an LR3 I found a lengthy discussion about the LR3 and WDH on rv.net Caddywhompus • View posts Southeast WI Senior Member Joined: 06/27/2001 View Profile Offline Posted: 06/10/06 12:35pm Link | Print |...

Trailer Towing With A Friction Sway Control Vs WDH

I tow a high wall Starcraft Pop-up Max Weight 3,750lbs I how a twin propane and a twin battery set-up so my tongue weight is probably in the range of 515lbs - 550lbs. The LR3 pulls my large pop-up like a champ. I know I don't have the same issues as everybody else regarding the need for WDH but...

Towing Using LR3 12V Connection to cool fridge

My understanding is the following: Yes the LR3 is prewired for the 12v power going to the trailer if you use the LR Towing Harness Yes the battery is connected to the live line

Towing Using LR3 12V Connection to cool fridge

I have a 2006 Starcraft 3608 Centennial (3,750 lbs fully loaded) that about to take on its first camping trip. If I am running the fridge off the trailers 12V battery while traveling to my destination will the LR3's alternator be able to maintain the trailers battery level ?
