Headlights issue
There is a ground wire that is connected to the side of the engine compartment. Think you will find some corrosion where it is screwed into the sheet metal. -

I would try resetting the sensors in the wheel. Just push them all the way in and see if that corrects the problem. -

Well before I went out to buy a new starter decided to use a battery jumper directly to the starter. Starter turned right over so figured it was a bad solonide. Thanks Vegas, that is a great link for starter removal. I was thinking a 10 mm as it is a little bigger than a 3/8 hex key. Guess it will be off the auto parts place to pick up some metric hex key sockets. -

Does anyone know what size the hex bolts are for the starter? Tried using 3/8 but seems a bit small. This is a 4.0 engine, thanks in advance for any help. -

Fuel guage not working
The pc board on my fuel pump that controls the signal to the fuel guage is worn out. Anyone know where I can get a replacement pc board. Thanks for any info you can give. -

1996 Disco Dash Lights
On the dash lights could the dimmer be turned all the way down. On not coming out of the park could be a stuck brake switch. If you have that rear fog light switch on the dash some times that will bypass the brake switch and allow you to get it out of Park. -

Hey Greg, I found the plug you were talking about but it is outside the car. I followed that cable you talked about under the car and there was the plug just inside the rear wheel well. Yes I have all the lights disconnected as I had the same thing you had with the bulbs shorting out a couple years ago. Are you saying the the wiring bundle is running outside of the car. Brake fuse blown
Hi Greg, I did not see a plug back there, but the harness runs on that side. I will check that out today. I have found that it is the Green/purple wire that runs from the brake switch to the rear brake lights that is shorted to ground.
