Just don't put covers over your front seat backs. Placing anything over the seams where the airbags are directed could cause serious injury in an accident.
I never had an issue with the stock Conti's but when I switched to the Michelin Latitudes the track on snow was significantly better and they were a bit quieter.
It has now been just over a week since I traded my '11 LR4 HSE Lux for a '14 Cayenne Base. Thought some of you might like to know the good and the bad.
First I would have liked to get a new LR4 but here are some of the reasons I looked elsewhere. 1) The dealer had no '14's with the...
If I remember correctly when I test drove a new RRS awhile back I was told that the start stop function does not engage if the engine is not yet warmed up or if the AC is required.
Examples of when the car will perform an Eco Stop:

If you walk back up to the vehicle without the smart-key in your pocket are the doors locked or unlocked. If you have the key in your pocket you don't have to hit the button the doors will unlock automatically.

I am going to miss that V-8.
Had the front and rear pads and rotors changed on my '11 LR4 with 46k on the clock. The cost was $1847 including tax. With the dealerships "rewards" program I get 20% of that on my account towards the purchase of my next vehicle. I should have also been given a jar of Vaseline.
I was at my dealer last Thursday getting my first set of brakes on my '11 at 46k. While I was waiting I decided to take a new RR Sport with the new engine for a test drive. In the RRS the engine seemed powerful enough but with the 8 speed trans didn't seem to pull as fast as the V8 in my LR4...
