I have a 2013 LR4 that I was looking into a few retrofits on and unfortunately needed to tackle this one first due to the family situation (not pointing a finger at my wife). Is it possible and does anybody have knowledge on how to retrofit the blind spot monitoring mirrors onto an LR4 without them factory installed?

I've tried searching around and its surprisingly difficult to find info on something that seems so easy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks all.

I'm sure you can get the mirror housings and radar units for the back.

Big question is wiring -- how would you get them to talk to each other? I'm guessing the radar units are talking over canbus to something in the newer style mirror housings?

Maybe you should just go aftermarket? I don’t mean to be rude with this but what would drive a need for this tech? This is by far the most open vehicle to see around the outside by just looking around.

Thanks for replies, it's a legit question you bring up and not entirely out of the picture. Being honest, my wife has it on her car and is so accustom to it that a few incidents have almost occurred. I wanted to gauge the OEM option first before going that route.

Does anyone know where to check how I could connect the wiring? I've read in a few Range Rover forums on this topic that there may already be a bracket with open plug in the back where the sensors are suppose to be. I simply don't know where to look.
