My understanding is when the crossover pipe catastrophically fails the coolant level sensor doesn’t have enough time to issue a warning.

This is my understanding; I did recently receive a low fluid warming on my 2012. I plan to tackle the timing chains, crossover pipes and coolant pipes later this summer...My understanding is when the crossover pipe catastrophically fails the coolant level sensor doesn’t have enough time to issue a warning.
Also, the coolant temp sensor doesn't measure "air" really well. So, temp guage doesn't give warning either. My understanding is when the crossover pipe catastrophically fails the coolant level sensor doesn’t have enough time to issue a warning.
Considering the amount of ECU changes/configuration updates you need to get the supercharged 5.0 into an LR4, it would be nearly impossible. Is there an option to put the 4.4 V8 into the LR4 and replace the 3.0L?
