Annoying Rattle…driving me nuts!
I have issues with the sun screens rattling. no matter how many times they replace the clips (etc.) the rattle comes back in no time. right now the 3rd row is rattling bad. If anyone has a sure fix, please let me know! -

gmoney- I've asked my dealer to check for a similar noise (especially when cold) and they tell me it's normal. Although I don't think it sounds normal, I have had a loaner or 2 make the same sound. -

rear hatch hydraulic cylinders
after hearing about the bulletin, i checked mine and sure enough they were loose. I was able to get a wrench on mine and tighten them up. It's been quite a while so I do not remember the size wrench, but I had no problems and it was a quick fix. Good luck -

LR3 hitch height
I keep it at 500 lbs. or so, but I've towed jet skis, boats and golf cars on trailers and everything works fine. I got my hitch haul from uws and it's made from aluminum alloy so it's strong but yet light weight enough to handle easy. http://www.uwsta.com/ -

I had the same concerns with my hitch haul. I bought a 6" rise to make sure the cargo carrier doesn't drag but still allows my rear hatch door to open. I got mine from Blue Ox and they have many different heights available and they are heavy duty. I've been very pleased with mine. Good luck... -

headlight washers fading
I had mine replaced within the last 6 months due to fade. It was done under warranty and they were replaced not with black (as was original), but with the matching color of the bumper ends and fender flares. So far so good. -

Extended Warranties
I checked with my dealer today and the warranties are 6k minimum--ouch!!! At the rate they keep rising and the falling prices of SUV's, it's a better value to trade for a newer LR3 that's certified than to buy the warranty! -

I was able to remedy the problem by ordering a "blue ox" hitch extension that has a 6 in. rise. I took my Hitch haul to a local accessories store and we did some measuring and found one that cleared the bumper and got the cargo carrier up in the air some but still allowed me lower the rear... -

Trailer hitch receiver stowage and attachment...
I have the SE7 and the compartment is on the left (driver side) and has a place molded for the receiver to fit. There is also a strap that has a buckle that you thread it through to help hold the receiver. I keep the plastic plug in the glove box. Unless you are doing some serious off-roading... -
