To my knowledge, there may be no way to reset the service counter at home. I remember trying the process that was documented in one of the stale GTR tech articles years ago, and it never worked. So, your current experience matches mine... You can, however, ask your dealer to permanently turn... -

The 2008 should have support for Phonebook transfer via OBEX/Bluetooth. It's fairly limited, though... and I'm sure it won't work for every device. The flaw? If your phonebook has nested phone numbers (single name w/ work, home, etc.)... they'll all be listed as identical name entries... -

Customer replaceable tail lights or signal light
Instructions are in your owner's manual. For parts, visit your local automotive shop or your LR parts counter... and they'll set you up. If you are talking not just the bulb, you'll need to stick with the LR parts counter. :) -

Used, maybe try eBay... but don't expect to get the latest version for cheap. Do note a 'back up' is the same as "pirated" unless you own the current disc already. -

Should I switch to synthetic oil?
Just for reference... for a 8000 mile run, stock non-synth oil (as supplied by dealer, under the free service program) tested at 86%. OEM oil filter. Free free to use synthetic, especially if you abuse your vehicle with short trips... it can't hurt, of course. :) But don't expect magic. -

I'm not sure they offer a LR "dock" adapter for the iPhone. You'd need to check with LR. Do note that you still will have the low AUX volume problem, even with the 'official' kit since it's wired the same way... the only gain is that you can skip tracks from the steering wheel controls. If... -

Quickly finding a POI on the NAV?
No, the voice item for a specific POI simply makes the icon appear on your map if it's there. Once you see the icon, you can press/touch it, etc. (This works without the bypass.) -

The "Land Rover" 4th Button on the FOB
The hatch keyfob feature is used on the Range Rover Sport and not intended to be used on the LR3. (That's why it's undocumented.) As you can tell, they didn't disable the programming logic for LR3. Yep, discussed in this forum ages ago...
