Use search; you'll get many hits and we likely don't need another thread. For me, my MPG decreases with less than optimal octane... but I'm at sea level most of the time. "Your mileage/experiences may vary." -

LR3 wishlist
If I remember correctly, power folding mirrors and power steering column adjustment started to appear in North America in 2008... at least for loaded ones. The mirrors barely fold; I'm not sure it's that useful. -

Trailer hitch receiver stowage and attachment...

broiler, all LR3s have the Navigation brains and DVD-ROM reader under the seat... well, if equipped with factory Navigation, of course. :smile: This is likely a GVIF (the video interface) bypass solution. -

There are just two 'real' solutions... Tricking the system with a fake Land Rover TV tuner option (Nav-TV module) so you can use the rear input outside of diag mode. Or trying to bypass the system entirely and feeding the screen directly (likely via the GVIF interface) with a hard switch... I... -

Child Safety Seat
You really shouldn't use the connectors not intended for the seat, since they weren't designed or tested for that use. Use the seat belt for the center non-LATCH seat. -

Front parking sensor
Are there front sensors? (Look at the bumper.) If you do have them, time to visit your service department for a diagnosis. Also, PDC will turn on when it thinks you are parallel parking without you pressing the button manually. -

Considering upgrading the stereo
If you didn't have Navigation and PTI, you could pull the head unit, too, and replace it... but it would obviously require some custom work to look decent. It won't kill your car, but you'll lose access to the settings menu in the instrument panel. -

settling after shut off
Yep, you can't program your key fob to do it in the way you want... that function is really only to assist with hitching a trailer, and it requires your Emergency Blinkers to be on as a safety lockout while you raise/lower with the fob. If you want it to lower the car to access before you exit... -

Voice Recognition
You need to train yourself to speak like it wants. One big mistake is to speak too loudly. Try switching Voice Settings --> Voice Language between US English Male, US English Female and UK English. You may have different luck with the other settings. I know a few males that work better with... -
