We were at the dealer yesterday for warranty stuff and I saw an '08 with some molded wood-look accents. Looked quite plasticky. The vents were shined up as well but finish was similar a to chromed plastic. Nice touch but didn't have that quailty material look. Nothing beats the CNC machined... -

I never thought to use spotters for tires - that's a good idea. No depth in the pix so it's a bit deeper than it looks. gaps in the rocks are pretty big. Now we could have filled them in with extra rocks with about 10 min work. Had a full crew there - 3 sons, 1 daughter and the LR3... -

Thanks for the comments. This is straight-up high quality aluminum stock, 5052 I think. Some polishing on the finish. Aluminum you can polish to chrome-like if you go far enough, but I like a more subtle tone. There is no clear coat. And there is a bezel for the terrain knob. The... -

Coolant sensor fault The float sinks to the bottom of the tank, causes the low coolant warning. Ours has this at the moment, haven't taken it in for that. Been a great truck since buying it in January. -

Got my trailer wiring kit all installed, went well. But bad wiring #$@^$ on the new trailer toasted the running light fuse for the trailer ckt. Manual says the supp fuse panel is in the rear LH compartment, but I see nothing. I hope it's not behind the inside 1/4 panel... Thanks -

We are interested in making service parts. We can have a look at it. I can't really tear apart our LR3. How bad is your current grill? Some epoxy, a bit of carbon fiber strands for support, sanding, wetsand, airbrush finish it could possibly be repaired. We've done this with Porsche grills. -
