    360 cameras

When it happened to me, it was the front left and the right side camera. Going to different menus didn't help.

    360 cameras

I've had the same thing happen to me on two occasions. After I restarted the truck, the cameras seem to work like they should. When they stop working, I get a blue screen for that camera with a picture of a cmaera with a line through it. Is that what you have seen?

When is the US going to get a diesel LR4?

Not sure about the diesel numbers, but the new V8 is awesome. 375 for both HP and torque. I rarely use it all, but it's nice to have when I do need it. Still, I would be really happy getting more than 20mpg with the LR4. I think the only way to do it would be a diesel option.

When is the US going to get a diesel LR4?

You will see Mercedes up the number of diesels in the near future. When I was in Moab early in July, the parking lot of the motel we stayed at had 32 Mercedes cars in it. Everything ranging from SLK roadster replacements to the big S class sedans. There were prototypes of the ML, SLK and one...

Anybody replace stock LR4 tires? Suggestions?

Quick reply from my phone: For a more aggressive tire, your only real choice for a 19" wheel is going to be the Goodyear MTR. I have had the tire on a prevoius truck and can say it is very liveable, but you will notice more feed back in terms of noise and ride. Nothing I couldn't tolerate...

Don't worry about it... no body got thier feelings hurt. As LR4 owners we are already bias, but I can tell you I don't in any way think the LR4 is perfect. I have never found the perfect car or truck. Joe was right, there are a lot of good things about the other brands too, for us we chose...

I didn't get to drive the new QX56, but I sure wanted too. I drove the old QX56 and it seemed like a decent vehicle if not huge! I have had a series of Nissan/Datsuns in my past and we traded a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder LE 4x4 on the LR4. Moving the the Nissan luxury brand would have been an...

Hey Joe, Same here, I think it is a bargin in the Lux SUV segment. I'm not sure why more people won't look at it other than the quality issues that previous models have had. One thing I wasn't prepared for was how nice the LR4 drives. It is amazingly quiet and comfortable. I expected...

When is the US going to get a diesel LR4?

It sure doesn't sound like it for the next two years. I would speculate we might have a shot when the next LR replacement comes out...

Hi, I rather like the interior of the LR4. I dove most of the trucks that LR4MYWIFE drove with the exception of the X5 and the Seqoia, and only the GL seemed to be a little nicer than the LR4. I wasn't that excited about the GM products, but for more reasons than the interior. The Lexus...

    Remote Features

Same here... The other day I tried to open all of them too, but for some reason they wouldn't. I know I did this before on this truck, but I just couldn't get it to work either way the other day when it was really hot out and it would have been usefull. I'll try it again tonight to see...

    Folding Powered Mirrors

Hi guys, I don't have the HSE LUX Plus, just the HSE LUX. I have the folding mirrors and I also have the option of the dipping headlights. Maybe I just got lucky??? Rob

Do you regret keeping it past warranty?

You're not going to hurt my feelings. I remember driving the LR3 back in 2005 and thought it was about the coolest SUV I had ever been in. At the timem I thought the black fenders and front bubmer was a great idea. The interior was very nice and I was really amazed that you could plug a phone...

    Folding Powered Mirrors

I double checked. You can turn on the mirror dip for reverse, but not the fold feature. The manual says something about the dealer turning the feature on and off. Still, they should fold with the buttons.

Advice on a new vehicle? (to augment or replace the LR3)

Thank God I am past the child seat stage! I have three teens: 16,16 and 14. My two girls love to bring the largest suitcases they can on vacation; you just can't have to many clthes or shoes... Even after shopping, and additional coolers, we hardley ever run out of space for the 5 of us...

    Folding Powered Mirrors

I have the 2010 HSE LUX and mine fold every time I lock the truck. If you go into the menu using the left 5-way switch on the steering wheel, I think there is a menu to turn off or on the folding mirror during lock/unlock. I will check in about 10 minutes when I leave work. Rob

    Broken Windshield

Report: Just got back from getting the windshield replaced. Everything is good so far. I will test tonight for Hi-beam and rain sensor functions. I will have to wait for a few months before I can test the heating function. So far, the only source is a dealer for the LR4s windshield...

    Folding Powered Mirrors

Hi Adam, Nope, I haven't had a problem with my folding mirrors. They work as the manual says. I hold both the left and right buttons and they fold up. Do yours fold when you lock the truck? Rob

    Roof Rails

Hi Charlie, Drilling holes is very simple. Drilling the holes in the right place and of the correct size without going too deep is harder. 20011LR4LUX, I plan on doing the short rails. Do you still have to drill holes for the short rails or just for the long rails...

    Lr4

I saw on another forum that someone had put a new exhaust on thier LR3. I can't remember the name of the exhaust company, but I'm fairly sure there is a part for the LR3. I would imagine it would also fit the LR4 but I'm not 100% sure on that. The warranty covered more than drive train, I...

Do you regret keeping it past warranty?

Go drive one of the new LR4s. They really did a nice job dressing up the interior and the ride is outstandingly smooth and quiet. I would suggest trading it in. You will get 4 years of warranty and still get to drive a Land Rover. Rob

Hello and welcome! I don't think there is enough time passed to know the answer to your questions yet. A couple of us very active memebers on the forum have only had our LR4s for a few months. I haven't had any issues with mine other than a small electronic issue that went away as soon as I...

    Broken Windshield

Hi all, I still can't believe it. My 2 month old LR4 needs a new wind shield. A rock got kicked up by a truck in front of me on a paved road and hit the area just below the wiper but above the plastic at the base of the wind shield. 1/2" up or down and the rock would have hit something...
