Hey guys, didn't mean to stir anything up. The interior i sat in was a light tanish. Maybe it's just how everything is configured inside the cabin. I don't know, as I was looking at the 2nd row seats they just look small and cramped and I'm a small guy(5'7 150lb). But sitting in them, they aren't too bad. I sat in drivers seat for all of 3 minutes and fiddled with everything on the showroom. It could be maybe I was just rushing, but imo felt it was lacking just a lil bit. My family has an 09 x5, 10 sequia, 10 gx and a 10 q7. Of all those vehicles, I prefer the q's interior and of all those vehicles the only one I like is the sequia. Due to it's size and the ability to fold down all 5 seats and be able to have so much room. The other cars just were lacking in that department. And i'm just coming from a bmw 335, so I can't really compare a sedan to a truck. But at the moment, I'm pretty dead set on getting a lr4...I just need to wait/pray for the lemon/buyback of my current car to go through. :(

Again tho, thank you guys for the replies.

I didn't get to drive the new QX56, but I sure wanted too. I drove the old QX56 and it seemed like a decent vehicle if not huge! I have had a series of Nissan/Datsuns in my past and we traded a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder LE 4x4 on the LR4. Moving the the Nissan luxury brand would have been an easy step for us, but I hate buying an exiting body style and who knows when my Infiniti dealer would have gotten a new one in. By the way, both the Infiniti dealer and Land Rover dealers are more than 50 miles from me. I can't just swing by any time I want to check one out.

I hear the third row seat isn't as big as the old Q? Can you confirm?

Hey guys, didn't mean to stir anything up. .

Don't worry about it... no body got thier feelings hurt. As LR4 owners we are already bias, but I can tell you I don't in any way think the LR4 is perfect. I have never found the perfect car or truck. Joe was right, there are a lot of good things about the other brands too, for us we chose the LR4 because it was the right choice for us.

You're lucky in the respect that you can see rreal world what the other trucks are like since your family has them. For us, we have to rely on a 30 minute test drive to compare a lot of the vehicles. For me, the LR4 was an easy fit as off-road performance was important. If there were things about he truck I really didn't like, I have to weigh them against the other competitors to see what they have and decide if I was willing to compromise. Nothing about the LR4 was a deal breaker and it exceeded a lot of the other offerings in things that were important to me.

I'm some where around 5'8" to 5'9". I feel the truck has great room in all three rows. I actually sat in the third row with one of my Aunts on the way to Omaha (50 miles) last week. It was very comforatble and I could have rode back there for many hours. I doubt you will fill your truck very often, but I can sure tell you that having the extra room is awesome.

yeah man, I just want a truck that will be able to give me the storage space I want any time. Its the reason why im getting a truck to be able to throw stuff in and not have to fold down seats or move this and that out of the way. Also that and trailering a boat next spring is also a reason why i need it. I dont ever plan on going off roading with the vehicle anytime soon or future..only thing we have up where i live is just snow..and sometimes lots of it.
