    Check this out

I've spent a lot of time in the auto industry and you really have to soak brake pads in tire shine before they chatter. I'm stumped as to why they put rotors on though. A little brake cleener and and residue would have been gone. WOW! Crazy stuff.

    Front lamp guards

Easy to install. I think I spent 45 minutes, and I have the lights, and A-bar. I think they look great. Taking off the grill and pulling the lights is a snap. If you can operate a screwdriver, these are no problem to put on.

Locked out of LR3 with motor running!

My Series II was the same way. I wonder if RH drive cars have this feature, but from the opposite side?

    Floor Mats standard?

When the cars roll off of the truck they have no mats. When I get the invoices, there is no charge line for mats. Who wants a car without mats? It's crazy, but mats are almost like a required dealer-installed option.

Installation of XM radio in 2006 LR3

It sounds like they aren't trying very hard. WHen I ran my Sirius, I put it in the center cubby above the center console area. I ran the power up from the accesory port that is to the left of the center ashtray. I'm still using the actual accessory "plug in", (I'm not sold on the sound quality...

    Front & Rear Lamp Guards

Front Guards are available in U.S. VUB501200. Any U.S. dealer should be able to order them. I have them on the shelf. EDIT--->seems that they are on b/o. You should be able to order them, but they may take 2-3 weeks.

    Wiper Blades

The ends on the wiper arms arm a standard width and design, (unlike Series II). I've tried blades from NAPA, and they fit okay, the only problem is that they didn't meet the curve @ the far right of the windshield. It didn't hurt performance, just looked funny.

    Snorkel ?

Matt has a point, the part #'s for the air inlet duct, and elbow are the same for all three engine variants. The Land Rover snorkel part# does not differentiate engines either. I'd have to venture that they are interchangeable...

    Considering A-Bar...

Go to www.landrover.com ---> Retailers---> accessories. Lots of accessories pictured. I think the A-bar looks great. One thing I hated aboutr LR3 was the body colored grille blendingd in to much. The A-bar brings out the center of the car and helps the look.

    Factory wook kit on LR3

Sad, But true. Some of the original Kit had problems with adhesion, fit and color discrepancies and were taken off the market. There is hope however. I did get an E-mail from up the chain last Wednesday telling me that the kit has been reintroduced in LRUK, and probably 2-3 weeks yet to see...

    LR3 cupholders/Starbucks cups

Damn, I can't believe that I missed that. '06 is significantly narrower, and has a different part # FWW500060PVJ. I guess I'd better go buy some.

    LR3 cupholders/Starbucks cups

Major Catastrophe! In my old car, (Discovery), the paper cups from Starbucks fit pretty okay, but in the LR3, the opening is to big and I end up w/triple Hazerlnut Latte all over the place. Anyone have any solutions?

Phone CRADLE #7 Part: XVE 500070

Rover seems to be having pretty good success with the Bluetooth Program. With all of the different brands, and styles and of phones, I'd have a hard time beleiving that they will go back to the cradle setup.

Phone CRADLE #7 Part: XVE 500070

As far as I can tell the XVE500070 was not produced. It is listed in some literature, but I've never heard of it being releaed due to software issues that the whole cradled phone program was having. I am told that this is one of the reasons the phone program switched to all Bluetooth.

LR3 OEM Driving lamps – any good, worth it?

I've got them attatched to the A-Bar and I'm pretty happy with them. They put out a lot of light. The switch is on a flat panel to the right of the intrument cluster if I remember right. I'll have to look when I go home.

    A-Frame Protector VS Brush Bars

Unfortunately with all that "protector" stuff, it has to be built so that in a collision, the vehicle "crushes" properly so that the air bags, crumple zones and what not operate. Back in the day, brush bars and protectors actually did that stuff. Today it is all looks. Even the ARB stuff, if it...
