What's new for 2008?
Yes, you can get the DVD screens put in the headrests on the LR3. I was just at LR dealer and they can put in the entire system for around $1500 plus labor.- timtiedemann

under 15k miles, you get alignment and tires
I just got back from Land Rover Allentown, PA. My 2006 LR3 had 18,200 miles on it. All four tires were cupping on the inside of the tread. Embarrassed by lack of 4x4 capability
OK, I went out to the same spot on the beach today. I decided to disable the DSC and that's it. I found with the DSC out of the equation and the gas pedal to the floor it was fine. Today at the Outer Banks in NC I was on the beach with my LR3. To get off of the beach and back onto the road required a slight hill climb in somewhat deep sand. Squeak Rattle and Roll
The rattle could also be from a loose wire bundle if it sounds like it's coming from near the overhead light. Check it out.- timtiedemann

Prestige Mercedes/Land Rover in Paramus, New Jersey. I believe they have the best prices around and they are very willing to haggle a bit. Buyer beware though; make sure you carefully inspect your vehicle before you purchase it.- timtiedemann

Is this a good deal for a used 2006 LR3?
One week ago I bought a 2005 SE V8 loaded, upgraded stereo, , rear PDC, cold climate, heated rear seats, Navigation, Xenon, wood trim, etc. Only had 11,000 miles and was the dealer Demo. Got it for $32,000. Hope that helps.- timtiedemann

Underbody Coating?
I have an '05 LR3 with 12,000 miles. Bought it from a dealer as a demo. I assumed that since they sell their demo's "as new" I wouldn't need to do my own 140 point inspection. My mistake.
