Help! Sunroof stuck open!
Thanks Rob right after I posted this I actually did check the manual. The solution was inside believe it or not ;). It needed to be recalibrated which involved holding the button down for about30 seconds and letting it reset. Woohoo. Very happy as it's pretty stormy here at the beach ;) -

On the beach.. lets see if I have this right
Quick query on the tire pressure. Most other sites recommend on sand going down to 18 psi. Is 20 psi recommended because the LR is so heavy? Also, do you put all 4 tires on 20? I know the rear tires are normally inflated at a higher pressure than the fronts. -

Choking on brake dust!
I think the only solution is to re-engineer the problem. The problem is the wheels get dirty fast. And really that's not going to change. Other than washing every few days, another way to make them appear less dirty is to get some matte black wheels, like these... -

Anybody replace stock LR4 tires? Suggestions?
Hey Folks, I'd like to get a new site of tires. I understand 18"'s don't work on the LR4 due to the bigger brake pads. So I'd stick to 19" which I know limits choice. I'd like more of an offroad tire (sand, mud mostly - I know very different), but I also don't want to comprimise too much... -

I would concur with many of Joe's gripes. I wasn't thinking on that level though. There are lots of what's referred to as 'usability' issues with the lR4, but typically they are easily overcome. In general the UI of the touch screen and nav is pretty bad. You can't set a destination while... -

Anyone seen this icon on the 4x4 screen?
I know that when you engage hill descent control, you do it from the console. It's the large button under the terrain selector. And when engaged, a little vehicle on an incline image appears in your center console. Perhaps this is just telling you you aren't currently engaged in hill descent... -
