Anyone seen this icon on the 4x4 screen?

I saw this icon (yellow with the red truck) on the 4x4 screen but it wasn't highlighted until I put the truck in park. I'm assuming it is the hill descent control, but there was nothing in the book about it.

At first I thought it was a soft key to turn that feature on, but it must just be an indicator.

Does anyone have any more information about it?

I know that when you engage hill descent control, you do it from the console. It's the large button under the terrain selector. And when engaged, a little vehicle on an incline image appears in your center console. Perhaps this is just telling you you aren't currently engaged in hill descent mode.

Thanks for the reply.

I haven't used all of the terrain functions yet, but I can tell you that hill descent is automatically selected when in mud/ruts and rock crawl. I will have to watch the screen the next time I am using one of the special programs to see if it lights up.

I was just more curious than anything about it. There is nothing in the manual about the 4x4 screen at all that I can find.
