    2010 LR4 - My First Warranty Repair – 4400 Miles

Not sure, if this is directly related to this thread, but thought I'd start here first. I have 1500 miles on my LR4. Recently, I suspended a tennis ball from the garage ceiling to use as a marker so I will know how far to pull in. I stop just when the ball brushes the hood. Every morning...

LR4 Halogen Bulb Upgrading - Highly Recommended

Rob, Would you mind confirming the part for the H7 bulbs? Is it 12972? Just want to make sure I'm buying the right one. Thanks! Starr

    Running boards / side steps

Thanks for the good info! I will definitely check it out. Although, it might be overkill for me as I really only need them as an actual step up into the car. Unfortunately, I will likely never do any extreme off-roading. Keep your posts coming, especially any other after market vendor details!

2011 LR4 HSE vs LUX package

I decided to go with the HSE to save the approximately $6k - the ONLY 2 features I really wanted from the LUX package were the keyless entry/locking and the seat memory. The idea of not having to ever take my key out of my purse or pocket when I have 2 kids and an armful of groceries is...

    Running boards / side steps

Same site I was looking at - I am also interested in hearing if anyone has used the Romik side steps. BTW - my dealer gave me the same quote...too high in my opinion for the actual side steps. I would pay the labor. Did you happen to ask if they would install aftermarket?

    Should I buy?

We have the Thule Ridgeline...holds 4 bikes. My husband uses the bar adapter that creates a straight bar from the stem to seat post - he has a Santa Cruz with a slanted bar that doesn't fit well without the adapter.

    Running boards / side steps

Hi - Absolutely loving my almost 4 week old 2011 HSE in Rimini Red. So far, no real issues at all - radio/nav system went silent 2 times, but restarted upon turning on/off the ignition. Wanted to know if anyone has installed OEM or aftermarket running boards. If so, any recommendations...

    Extended Warranty

UGAgirl, One more thought: when you purchase insurance for the new LR4, you should have the option of adding MBI (mechanical breakdown insurance) as a part of your coverage. Ours is for 7 years or 100,000 miles with a $250 deductible. It includes almost everything mechanical that can fail...

    Should I buy?

UGAgirl, I previously responded to this post, but I just wanted to add that I'm also a mom with 3 kids, 2 of which are still in carseats. I frequently carpool too. It works really well for a family with the exception of usable rear cup holders - but I like that, as there can then be no...

    Should I buy?

I have had my 2011 HSE for 5 days now. It is perfect. I spent many months agonizing over the purchase - researching and test driving and comparing. Every time I came back to the LR4. There really wasn't anything else like it - - The cabin is open, airy and full of light - it's gorgeous and...

Please help me validate my Experience with SF Bay Area Dealer

Thank you all for your insight. I agree that LR RWC is great - especially because: The sales guy called today to tell me that now we are looking at March 7thish for delivery. I expressed concern and unease over the situation and he called me back to offer 2 other cars that were recently...

Please help me validate my Experience with SF Bay Area Dealer

I just joined in anticipation of receiving my 2011 LR4 HSE, however, I am starting to doubt that I'll receive it! I have been dealing with LR Redwood City (even though I live in the South Bay) - I followed a salesman that I liked/trusted from LR San Jose there. I wanted an LR4 with HSE and...
