Let me know how you like it. I looked at the OEM iPod dock and decided to pass. Instead, I went for the Harman Kardon Drive and Play 2 from a local Stereo Store last year. Here's the link: http://www.harmankardon.com/drive-1/default.aspx
Was $500.00 installed-looks like an OEM setup as it...
Agree 100%-spend a little more on tires that have proven to be reliable and you will save in the long run. I hear the coopers and the BFGoodrich fall into tis category.
Another note I made before-a full size spare does not automatically mean HD package. Check your option codes. I have a full size spare and no locking diff.
I do not have the HD package and have not had any problems and have been in some crazy situations. Also need to point out-I have a full size spare as well-so I am guessing that a full size spare is not exclusive to HD package other as some folks have mentioned. Do not assume you automatically...
Well I have my truck back-will call LR NA early next week to follow up. Good to have wheels again regardless. Parts, labor and alignment came to $2800.00 including a sunroof fix. I will update when I hear back.
Thanks for all the feedback. Believe it or not, my dealer has been pretty good but I will not get anywhere with them on this-already tried. I am going to call LR NA regardless. As far as a newer model is concerned, this vehicle is mine so I have all the money into it already-trading for a new...
Front Differential Failure-51,000 Miles-UPDATE!
This truely sucks-driving last Saturday AM to run some errands with the wife. Get on the highway doing about 65 then all of a sudden there is a loud noise much akin to a coffee mill-I was able to slow down, get to the next exist and into a gas...
I have the same size BFG's. For similar reasons above-excellent snow rating, off road capability and best of all-they wear like iron. The 265's are prob the biggest you can go with these before having serious rubbing issues.
Never had good results with FM transmitter concept. I went different route with HK Drive+ Play. I don't have nav-screen fits right in Nav spot-hard wired in-sound is very clean-unit has OEM look.

I run the BFG AT's and they are great. Probably one of the most expensive options out there so not the first choice for folks. They are very durable and well suited for a heavy vehicle like the LR3. I have had them on my Defender as well as a Ford Explorer and they wore like iron-
I swear-I can drive to my office 4.5 miles at 30 MPH for 3 days straight, then take a road trip on the highway for 350 miles at 80 MPH and my computer "average speed" stays right around 31 MPH. Is this normal? How often does the computer recaluculate? Seems mine never reads more than 31 MPH...
Ok-if this is not appropriate-I will remove. I am selling my Driving light kit on eBay-pretty good price-FYI if anyone is interested. Search LR3 driving lamp kit. I am not a dealer-just interested in other accessories besides this.
I agree-looks nice. The big test will see how they handle the details if they go into production. The H2 looked really good as a concept until I finally saw a production version-
I use a product called Whestley's Bleach White on all rubber matts and tires. Works really well for the rubber and leaves a nice natural finish. Just need to follow the directions. Simple Green works great as well. Other tips from what I have experienced:
If you use anything else-make sure it...
That would make sense to me. The issue is making sure that the wiring in question isn't somehow related to the control systems for other parts that might need to be repaired.
