2012 LR4 - Ticking saga...
So I have owned 3 Rovers with the 5.0 motor...none have been as noisy as this one...rhythmic tic, tic, tic varying in speed with the RPM's. Have had the timing chains done to take that out of the equation...not much change in the tick. Trying to get information on the fuel pump cam follower... -

Seems to take a couple of days but the front end drops first - then the rear - over 1-2 days. First thing to check for a leak? -

I am thinking about the ARB bar for my D2 - I have an 01 and like the bars for the 03/04 better - I think they will work with a little modification - at least that is what I have heard. -

So the obvious answer is it is not really a push bar...I mean, maybe if you get to close to something and nudge it no damage will occur but its just really more for looks than anything. I have always liked the look - but I don't do any real hardcore off-roading or bush whacking - would never... -

01 Disco Exhaust Leak
So I think I have found my exhaust leak on the downpipes. It is leaking at the welds (mainly on the passenger side) to the plate that holds the studs for the y-downpipe. I can see black exhaust residue in the area. A new y-pipe (oem) is like $1500 with cats which I don't need. I have 189,000... -

LR4 Brake Problems and LR support
Your issue is with lug torque - there is nothing wrong with the rotors and they are big enough to handle heat dissapation. The monkey's at the dealership (due to laziness, ignorance or speed) put your new rotors on and then torque the lugs to whatever the las monkey had the impact gun set too... -

So after looking at this it seem that the glass carriers via the RAVE are what is loose and rattling - the S type mechanism that does the tilt etc...the one on the passenger side front is really loose. The track itself seems fine. Is it possible just ot buy the glass carriers? And for... -

Seem like you could take down the front part of the headliner without removing the whole thing. Are the rails attached to the drain tubes? I had to reseal the drain tubes a few months back - figured you could get to the guide rails with just the front part of the headliner hanging down. -

So I have a sunroof that is rattling over bumps when open where as is never did this before...anyone know what would cause this? If you grab ahold of it and shake it, it does not seem loose but hard to tell. It is usually pretty quiet when open but of late the rattling is getting bad...
