do I have to do it a certain way? quick, slow, engine running, or key slightly turn on -
transfer flush?
How often should the transfer case be flushed or fluid change. Would this help with the classic thunk noise? U-joints are fine. -

Changed the battery on my 98 disco. We all know that the radio will reset it self. Punch in the code nothing. Call LRN 800-637-6837 to verify code same code. The radio wont except it. Dealer wants $75 to take radio out and get the serial #. Hell $50 more will get me a decent one at best buy. WTF!!! -
Not the u-joint
I went under the truck and notice zerk fittings on the joints. Greased them up so hopefully that will help. Stock u-joint dont have zerks correct? Last owner must have had them done. Rig does have 95650 miles on it. Thanks guys. -

Hey guys my 98 disco le 95650 miles left rear running light dont work but the brake light does? What you think -

bought it used dont have many records but the guy deals wit foreign cars,trucks etc. No charge so I grab my stuff and left. Hope nothing major its just annoying. -

Hey guys its the same old thing . 98 disco le (95650 miles) thought the front u-joint on the rig was shot. Same synthoms like every one else. Thunk noise when shifting in to reverse,acceleration, and stoping same old noise. Suspenion guy said not the joint maybe the trans. Think a flush will help?
