    Just heard from the garage. The fuel pump is bad, $600 part and 2.5 hours labor. The crank shaft sensor is broken, and there is a bolt of some sorts holding the sensor that is broken. $170 part, unknown labor estimate because they are not sure how to get the broken bolt out.

    Starter? 97 Disco

    It seems my starter is not fully engaging or I have a timing problem. This only occurs when the motor is still warm, never happens from a cold start. When I turn the key, the engine turns over a few times, the starter kicks out, and then there is a slight grinding sound. Any advice?
