Well tonight I finalized my original order for the corris grey with black pack - that way I get exactly what I want. Order is on and targeting delivery on 8/30. What a relief! Have been so concerned I would be unable to get a 2014 LR4 it seems unreal that I have one ordered. -

Crazy. Seems like ordering an LR4 and paying MSRP is about as good as it gets for the 2014 model. And that's not easy because local dealers get so few allotments if any on a month to month basis. You could try what I'm doing. If you have family in other zip codes check their dealers for 2014... -

Bare minimum recovery gear
I've done light roading (SoCal terrain, dirt, hills, and sand) in the past and am comfortable beginning with that. What I haven't been a part of is any sort of recovery involving a second vehicle using tow straps or snatch straps - that is new to me. Thanks for the information on the clubs... -
