Gotta say the winders in the LR4 are reliable asf so far. I was afraid to use them so much when I first got it 7/23. No problems with mine so far, including the sunroof which is used multiple times a day. Love that fresh air.- powershift

Exhaust solutions?
If anyone has idle, rev or WOT clips of their modified feel free to post them and your mods to the exhaust! I've been thinking about cutting off the mufflers at the rear, welding in a pipe in its place and leaving the upstream mufflers/resonators in place. White smoke is coolant burning. I'd do an oil change to ensure it isn't chocolate milk instead of oil. Are you seeing the white smoke from your rear-view mirror or do you get out and inspect the exhaust? Hot or cold engine temperature is one thing to note when its happening too. ZF6 to ZF8 upgrade!
The gear ratios are numerically higher in the 8 speed so accelerating is going to feel like the engine has more power, especially in 1st. Its already pretty tall in the 6 speed with 4.171:1 ratio 1st gear vs the 8 speed 1st gear is 4.696:1. I doubt the 2 MPG gain is genuine, there might be a...- powershift

2015 LR4 Coolant Issue - Nothingburger or...
What I did for mine is replaced the coolant parts proactively. With 96k mi on yours, the xovers need to be replaced no matter what. I haven't done it on an LR4, but I have on previous vehicles and it should be doable on your back. You'll want to rent a transmission lift and ideally a helper to see both sides when removing and installing.- powershift

heated windshield on -> voltage drops to 12.7
Your good at 14.8V. If the charge hits 14.9V, that is too high for the battery. The alternator puts out 150A so you are well within the normal operating range with the 100A draw. I haven't monitored the voltages on mine, but had thoughts of using a 50A DC-to-DC Lifepo4 charger. I'm not sure...- powershift

High water pressure is bad, it says that in the manual. You could disconnect the hardware leads and inspect the connections for free. Make sure the terminals are clean and dry.- powershift

Ah, now I can see the damage. Aside from the chip, the valve is bent too. Looking at the shadow in the gap the valve looks like it won't line up to seal. Once your remain is in there, the engine will breath new life.- powershift

Yeah, there are a lot of adjustments to the seats. I've never had a quality seat like these in any vehicle, they are pretty good. They are more like captains chairs. I have my seat bottom titled up on the front near my knees all the way.- powershift

How-To DIY: Replacing LR4 fuel system low pressure sensor
If the fuel line was empty because you worked on it after it died, then that could mean the fuel pump, something in the tank or something that is part of the fuel line between that sensor and the tank is mucked.- powershift

On long trips I've had a sore azz after a couple hours. To fix that I tilted the seat bottom up so that the seat supported my legs more. Doing that took weight off my azz and distributed it more evenly across my legs and azz, much like a proper task chair. It also lifted my feet further away...- powershift
