AC Not Blowing Cold...Sometimes
Mine is fine, and not sure this applies.... On the 2002 Nissan Maxima there is a thermostat in air plenum in the dash that gets corroded. After I replaced that thermostat the A/C improved markedly. Same somewhere in the Rover?? Are your cabin air filters in good condition? -

Agreed, that looks like the connector from the windshield, there are 2 of these, one on each side. You can tell if the windshield is working by using your thermometer "gun" and by just touching the windshield - although you may need to wait until fall or winter depending on your location so... -

Quick diagnostic look see for small leaks. Works for both 2013 and 2016 Remove appearance cover. Get flashlight, even better get UV flashlight If wet or UV active (assuming you run Rover coolant), then it's leaking. It's easier if you wait until it's dark, at least inside the engine... -
