    sagging confirmed, now what?

I don't think it's critical that it's dead flat/level, but I defer to those with more experience. There shouldn't be any change in height at all, I suggest that perhaps the valve blocks need to be rebuilt - new o-rings. There are 3 valve blocks, main/center, front and rear, rebuild kits are...

Would like to confirm a few details on 2015 SCV6 maintenance

Not sure if this is still needed, but here is my video from the 2016 V6 SC. I strongly suggest you complete the supercharger maintenance. The video is stupid long, but it has all the plumbing info you need.

    AC Not Blowing Cold...Sometimes

Mine is fine, and not sure this applies.... On the 2002 Nissan Maxima there is a thermostat in air plenum in the dash that gets corroded. After I replaced that thermostat the A/C improved markedly. Same somewhere in the Rover?? Are your cabin air filters in good condition?

Can you identify this electrical part?

Agreed, that looks like the connector from the windshield, there are 2 of these, one on each side. You can tell if the windshield is working by using your thermometer "gun" and by just touching the windshield - although you may need to wait until fall or winter depending on your location so...

    LR4 air suspension stays up!

It has been a little while, but those voltages look good to me. I recall that there was a pattern like you are seeing, but I don't exactly recall it now... I doubt that it will matter, BUT.... Check the software that your system is running. (IIDTool) My 2016 (purchased used) was running...

    AMK Compressor rebuild/replace

I just replaced the AMK in our 2016 a few weeks ago. Vendor was AutoHaus AZ. The pump was something like $500 or so, very inexpensive and was a legitimate AMK. BUT, the relay sent they sent was NOT compatible with the vehicle, it physically did not fit, and after ALOT of dinking around, I...

getting that damn eco/stop start light off on the IP

It's an Exide EK-151. You can purchase in the UK with the proper battery terminals and have it shipped - no problem. I purchased at Groves Batteries and was very pleased, there are also other vendors are also out there.. The install is super easy and fast - if you can change a light bulb you...

    Lower control arm bushing question

I would call that a dead bushing needing replacement. Drive 2-3 mph with foot on brake pedal but not pressing Brake hard Listen for a clunk coming from under you just in front of the seat If it clunks you need new bushings. I bet they were installed wrong - if they were tightened down without...

    Name That Sound !

2016 LR4, 60K miles The sound is very reproducible, and only occurs under these conditions. 1. It is absolutely an A/C related sound, it turns off instantly if I turn off the A/C. 2. It needs to be at least 85F outside, the hotter it is, the more sound I get. 3. Needs to be at a constant...

How To - DIY - 2016 LR4 - F/R Crossover Pipes, Water Pump, Thermostat, Coolant, Supercharger Oil, Supercharger Coupling

Quick diagnostic look see for small leaks. Works for both 2013 and 2016 Remove appearance cover. Get flashlight, even better get UV flashlight If wet or UV active (assuming you run Rover coolant), then it's leaking. It's easier if you wait until it's dark, at least inside the engine...

Current Brake Pad and Rotor Recommendations?

So, I am older than dirt, but I have never replaced brake fluid, I know, I know.... So for the 2016. Your favorite bleeding tool? Is there anything special that I need the IID tool for (I am thinking ABS valves) or is this just a straight forward flush and done. Also, decided to upgrade...

2016 LR4 Coolant Crossover, Water Pump, Thermostat Replacement

2016, 60K miles. OK, so minor SC coupler spring damage to the main shaft, this is mainly cosmetic, but I can feel a very small bit of wear. Do you think this will be out of balance enough to require replacing, or just put it back together... The new coupler does not touch the main shaft.

2016 LR4 Coolant Crossover, Water Pump, Thermostat Replacement

2016 LR4, 60K miles I am told that the fill volume for this is 151mL, but I recovered only 84mL. No evidence of leaks and yes, I am sure I got it all out - syringe and tubing and moving SC to make sure I was getting it from all the corners of the gearbox. New oil has no appreciable odor, used...

    Aluminum crossovers exist now! (maybe)

I spoke to Phillip at PalmBeach Rover Parts and he told me that the 3 part design in aluminum was an old Rover design that had been changed out to the new plastic 2 piece design and that when older vehicles come in they are updated to the new plastic parts. He did not have a good explanation of...

    Aluminum crossovers exist now! (maybe)

Well, I drove over to EuroAMP and I did not return with the parts. I looked at two sets of top/bottom front crossovers for the 2016. This is my opinion... I may be way too picky, but I was not pleased with the quality of the casting or the finish on the mating surfaces. The female interior...
