    Sorry, I should have asked a better question. Prior to the recall, did your gas gauge use the full range, with the little > sign going up all the way to F? I have never noticed any fuel smell, but if this gets me more range, I might get it done regardless.

    Did your gas gauge read 100% full after filling up? Mine seems to have the full range on the cluster, but likewise I can only put in 16-17 gal when the low fuel light turns on.

    A minute seems pretty long, especially if the air tank is already full. I want to say it takes about 7-10 seconds for each level. (IE 7-10 seconds for access to normal, another 7-10 for normal to off-road)

    I've experienced this behavior in both the 2012 and 2016 I've had. Sometimes in winter it seems like when it settles down, it seems to overshoot, leading me to turn the temp up a bit more.

    Any D3S bulb should work; Philips and Osram are well-regarded for their HID bulbs. Supposedly one of the Osram bulbs has higher output over "standard" HID bulbs, although I've never tried it.

    I've used a CTEK MXS 5 to keep my main battery topped up while parked, and have never had any issues. I'm guessing a number of people have done the same with no ill effects.
